Yonkman, Scott


Brothers Scott and Greg Yonkman are joint owners of Yonkman Construction, Inc. Scott Yonkman is the President of Yonkman Construction, Inc. He has been with Yonkman for 35 years and had 5 years prior experience. Scott has lived on Whidbey Island for 43 years.
Scott oversees the day to day management for the company. He also is the initial point of contact for all new customers. Scott works cooperatively with customers to understand their project goals, and then facilitates development of job drawings, specifications, estimates, schedules and contracts.

Scott is a Certified Built Green Builder and a Certified Aging-in-place Specialist. He was the 2008 SICBA President and is currently a SICBA Board Member. Scott is an Island County Planning Commissioner, a BIAW State Director, and a NAHB National Director.

Scott likes the people and the team developed here at Yonkman. Yonkman’s culture is centered on creativity and integrity both in business practices, building and customer care processes. Yonkman Construction desires to be cutting edge – not to boast, but to serve.

Yonkman, Greg


Brothers Greg and Scott Yonkman are joint owners of Yonkman Construction, Inc. Greg is the current Secretary/Treasurer and works as a Project Manager. Greg has lived on Whidbey Island, and worked at Yonkman Construction, for 34 years. He has over 41 years of experience building homes.

Greg likes working with Yonkman’s craftsman, subcontractors, and owner to create a quality, one of a kind home everyone is proud of.

Banta, Curtis

Construction Operations Manager

Member of the Yonkman team since 1998 and has 18 years of industry experience. Curtis is certified in Erosion and Sediment Control, as well as First Aid/CPR.

Anthony, Jennifer


Member of the Yonkman team since 2008. Jennifer is responsible for bookkeeping, document preparation, record keeping, and various other tasks as needed.

Jennifer has over 19 years experience in office work and became certified in Microsoft Office and computerized accounting after attending a vocational school in CA.

Trahan, Nicole

Estimator/ In-House Designer

Nicole joined the Yonkman Construction team in June 2015. She has 3 years experience in the construction industry, focused on flooring and countertop installations as well as project management and Interior Design of mainly Kitchens and Baths. Prior to that, she worked as an intern for a Residential design firm located in San Antonio, TX. Nicole’s primary role at Yonkman Construction is new client consultation for New Construction as well as Remodel and Estimating of the Construction Process. She also aids clients in Interior Design as needed.

Nicole earned her BFA in Interior Design from The Art Institute of San Antonio, Texas.
